1. Acceptance
By using lionleadership.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.
These Terms cover your use of the website. They’re separate from any Client Services Agreement you may have with us for coaching or consulting — and if anything here ever conflicts with your Client Services Agreement, your Client Services Agreement controls.
2. Who Can Use the Site
You need to be at least 18 to agree to these Terms. The Site isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
If you’re using the Site on behalf of an organization, you’re confirming you have the authority to do that — so “you” means both you and that organization.
3. Using the Site
You’re welcome to browse, read, and share our content for your own personal and informational use. We just ask that you don’t:
- Copy, republish, or use our content commercially without our permission,
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to harvest data or content from the Site,
- Try to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems, or
- Disrupt the Site or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
If you’d like to use something of ours, just ask — the answer is often yes.
4. Our Content & Intellectual Property
The Site and almost everything on it — including the Agentic Leadership Framework, the Agentic Leadership Assessment (ALA) and its five constructs, and the Lion Leadership name and logo — is our intellectual property or used with permission, and it’s protected by law.
Some instruments and tools we reference are owned by others — for example, Birkman, Hogan, StrengthsFinder, DiSC, Working Genius, and the Key Polarities Indicator 360, among others. Naming them isn’t a claim of ownership, and it isn’t an endorsement either way.
5. The Site Is Informational
This is the heart of these Terms.
- The Site is for general information. What you read here is educational and reflects our perspective — it isn’t professional, legal, financial, medical, or psychological advice for your specific situation.
- Using the Site doesn’t make you a client. A coaching or consulting relationship begins only when we both sign a Client Services Agreement.
- The pricing estimator gives you an estimate — not a quote, an offer, or a binding price. It’s a planning tool. Real pricing comes from an actual conversation and agreement.
- We don’t guarantee outcomes. Leadership growth depends on a lot of things we don’t control, and nothing on the Site is a promise of any particular result.
6. The Site Is Provided “As Is”
We work hard to keep the Site useful and accurate, but we offer it “as is” and “as available.” We don’t guarantee it will always be available, error-free, current, or free of bugs or viruses, and we don’t make warranties about the content beyond what’s written here.
To the extent the law allows, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some places don’t allow certain disclaimers, so a few of these may not apply to you.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lion Leadership, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of this Site, even if we’ve been told such damages were possible.
Because this Site is free and informational, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00). None of this limits liability that can’t be limited under the law. If you have a paid engagement with us, the liability terms in your Client Services Agreement govern that relationship.
8. Indemnification
If your use of the Site causes a problem for someone else — and that leads to a claim, loss, or expense against us — you agree to cover us for it, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, to the extent the claim arises from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of someone else’s rights.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If a dispute comes up that we can’t resolve through a good-faith conversation, we both agree to try mediation first, through Miles Mediation & Arbitration in Atlanta, Georgia, before heading to court. If mediation doesn’t resolve it, the dispute will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clarke County, Georgia (Athens). Any claim related to the Site must be brought within one year of when it arose.
10. Changes, Severability & Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date. If you keep using the Site after that, you’re agreeing to the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, make up the full agreement between you and Lion Leadership, LLC regarding your use of this Site.
