Coaching Is Not Mental Health Care
Lion Leadership, LLC provides executive coaching, leadership development, assessments, training, and related business services. We are not a mental health, medical, psychological, or healthcare provider, and we do not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind. Our coaches are not acting as licensed mental health professionals when they work with you, and nothing we offer is a substitute for care from a licensed therapist, physician, or other qualified professional.
Leadership work is personal — the way you lead and the way you live aren’t fully separable, and real coaching often touches on stress, confidence, relationships, and wellbeing. That’s normal, and it’s part of the work. But touching on those things is not the same as treating them. If you’re dealing with a mental health concern, please reach out to a licensed professional. If it’s an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
About Clinical Coaching
Our team includes clinical coaches who are clearly identified as such on this Site. They operate as separate, independent mental health practices — not as Lion Leadership, and not under Lion Leadership’s services.
If you’d benefit from that kind of support, we’re glad to make an introduction. But if you choose to work with one of our clinical coaches, you’ll contract with their practice directly — under their own brand, their own agreement, their own professional license, and their own insurance. That relationship is entirely between you and them. We’re not responsible for the clinical services they provide, and introducing you to a resource doesn’t make their work ours.
We Don’t Promise Specific Results
Coaching outcomes depend on a lot of things we don’t control — most of all, the effort, openness, and follow-through of the person being coached, and the environment they’re working in. Because of that, we don’t guarantee any specific result, such as a promotion, a raise, a revenue number, a behavior change, or a particular score on any assessment.
What we promise is to show up with skill, care, and our best professional judgment. The rest is a partnership.
Coaching Is Not Licensed Professional Advice
Our work helps you think, lead, and decide more effectively — but it isn’t a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney, accountant, financial advisor, or other professional. For decisions that call for that kind of expertise, please consult someone qualified to give it.
Assessments Are Tools, Not Verdicts
Any assessments we use or offer — including our own instruments and third-party tools — are designed to support development and self-awareness. They are not infallible, they are not clinical or diagnostic instruments, and they should never be used as the sole basis for an employment, hiring, or other high-stakes decision.
